Merging PDFs usually means uploading sensitive documents — contracts, invoices, ID scans — to some third-party server and hoping it deletes them afterward. This tool skips that entirely: it uses pdf-lib, a PDF engine that runs as JavaScript, to open, combine and rebuild your files directly inside the browser tab you’re looking at right now. The files never leave your device, and there is no upload step to wait on.
Add two or more PDFs in any order using the drop zone below, reorder or remove them with the × button on each row, and hit Merge. Each source file’s pages are copied byte-for-byte into a new combined document — no re-rendering, no quality loss — and the result downloads straight to your device as a single PDF. Can I change the order of the PDFs before merging?
The output follows the order you added the files in — remove a file and re-add it to move it to the end of the list, or select files one at a time in your desired order rather than all at once.
Is there a limit to how many PDFs I can merge?
No hard limit is enforced by the tool itself, but since everything runs in your browser's memory, extremely large numbers of files or very large PDFs may be slow or hit your browser's memory limits — for typical use (a handful of documents), it works fine.
